Parking rear buzzer

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, im trying to find the exact location for the rear parking buzzer on a 2014 octavia  estate, as I think my one has failed, all the sensors  are clicking fine ect, all i get is a long beep and no display when selecting reverse ?, I pulled the b pillar covers off n/s but it's not there also the side trim off the luggage  area and it's not there either only the brown connector for the actual sensors any help would be greatly appreciated on the buzzer location as I'm a bit stumped?

So I'm assuming it's actually  above  the side airbags?

Im in the same situation here. Only not even a beep when put into reverse.

Scanned with obd11 and code a fault code for the buzzer. Tho aint a clue where on earth it is

Based on the other thread, it'll be above the roof liner, at the rear of the car in the middle of the car. No where near the side air bags :)

Great thanks  for that info,il look again at it and take a few photos  for this group for anyone else having issues ,so just to clarify I should  pull the headlining  down a little over the rear passenger door area and look there? I know the upper side airbag  came across to the center of that b pillar.

The boot, not a passenger door :)

The nut style object in the picture below is the roof antenna to give a sense of it's location.

Just a update  guys ,put it on the topdon diagnostic scanner and it showed  body control module error, but as I wasn't  getting any other problems with the electrical  systems, I decided to try and change the parking  aid module  by the accelerator pedal (ebay £30) and it all works again perfect,,so I'm guessing the parking aid module  had failed  and wasn't communicating with the body control module, thanks again everyone  for you help.  ATB Matty 👍

Hi, sorry to jump on an old thread, but my just-purchased 2013 estate came with this issue and I'd like to rectify it (especially if I can do that for £30).

Did you need to code the replacement parking aid module?
