Morning All

 

Had weird issue this morning when starting the car - 2018 VRS Diesel DSG 4x4

 

Car struggled to start on first key turn, but did start.  Then as soon as I put the car in Drive and tried to pull away, it stalled.

 

Tried again and had the same issue, but with "start car manually" message.

 

I'm assuming this is a low battery issue?

That's just one of several possibilities.

 

I would measure the battery voltage under several conditions before jumping to conclusions:

- first thing in the morning before ignition on or starting

- immediately after starting

- whilst driving if possible

- when getting home in the evening

 

I found this useful for monitoring battery voltage.
