Hi All,

I'm new here, Recently purchased a 2014 skoda octavia estate with 118000 mls, full service history from new.

When car is on my driveway idling and I touch the accelerator lightly it makes a humming noise, its not very loud but I can hear it, also when driving when I accelerate  it hums as well, when I stop  accelerating the hum stops, I have been to 2 garages who both say the car is fine as they have road tested it, they never mentioned the hum, 

any advice or suggestions as its driving me mad.

Seriously, if you can reproduce the noise at will, ask a garage to have a mechanic accompany you on a demonstration with you driving.
