Hi, I have just bought this car (2014) I know it has a DPF fitted..my work is about four miles away through town then country road..every week I drive about 35 miles to go cycling..my average speed for the car is about 50mph on my 35 mile journey..will this be enough to keep DPF happy?  I use Texaco premium diesel

( the car has done 70k )

Thanks,  joe

Welcome.

Enjoy it and have fun.

It might have had the VW Emissions fix sometime after 2017 because they got one for 1.2 TDI,s but as long as all is well then not a problem.

You can maybe check if outstanding, but if not showing that does not mean it was done.

Only recall I noticed was something to do with a possible fuel leak I think..

I'm thinking of getting timing belt done and an oil change..unless it's already been done? I haven't looked at the documents yet..should i take the car to my local Skoda garage or will my local garage be ok?

I know nothing about 1.2 TDI,s and never driven one.

I would give Skoda Main Dealers a miss unless you have a good one with proper mechanics. (There is one like that in Aberdeenshire, all the gear and more than ideas, and they service and not just tick lists.)

Just found out that my Roomster 1.2 TDI had the Nox thingy done in 2017

I have no idea how it drove before? Heard they were sluggish?  But my Roomster is quite quick..I was surprised.
