The buttons on the steering wheel go to the next radio station - but not to your next favourite. Is there any way to change this?

Don't know, but you can realign the list easily?

The list that the up and down buttons on the steering wheel traverses - is just the stations as they appear according to their frequency. If you are on radio 1 and click the right button you go to radio 2, then radio 3 etc. I want to switch between favourites

 

There's an option in radio settings that changes the function of the arrow buttons. I think it also applies to the steering wheel buttons.

 

Arrow buttons: - Setting the function of the function surfaces
  ■ Presets- Switch between stations stored under the preset buttons
  ■ Stations - Switch between all available stations of the selected broadcasting range
