Quick Question Regarding 312mm Brakes

Featured Replies

I've just ordered a 312mm brake kit from golfturbo for my Vrs and can't wait to get them on, some decent brake power at last (I hope!). My question is though when I need to buy replacement pads what do I buy them for? Octavia Vrs, Audi TT etc.

Many thanks

Octavia vRS wil be fine

(same as Audi TT, S3, VW Golf 4Mo, Seat Leon Cupra, etc)

1. Good choice you won't regret it

2. I would assume you need Audi TT Pads given that this is the source of kit. However I do know that whichever pads you need, you don't need ones with a wear sensor (not sure whether this affects the price or not) as the Fabia vRS does not have this function.

Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge will be along to answer your question more fully and likely provide a part number too

EDIT: Ross you're too damn fast

Thanks Lummox. Any idea what the best brake fluid to use is too as I'll obviously have to bleed the brakes when I fit the 312's.

Personally id have a look about for some Super DOT4.

I have the BIG brakes and had Super Dot 4 in at the Fluid change on the last service...................Awesome...
