Are they still a thing?

A kit car based on the EA888 and AWD system would be quite a lively thing.

I can't remember seeing them mentioned for ages.

I was at the National kit car show in June in Malvern, and while it was smaller than at Stoneleigh in pre-covid days, it was still worth attending.  Like a lot of things though, you can spend an awful lot of money building/buying a decent one…
