I've been thinking of some subtle mods to my Furby vRS, Lately I ordered some Philips Blue Vision bulbs and the philips indicators (can't remember the model but non orange ones).

The indicators look smart without the orange hue. However the head light bulbs concern me, The sidelight bulbs are very blue when off and the full beam bulbs are also quite blue. I think this looks a bit boy racer/ch@v-ish and I'm seriously thinking of taking them out. :confused: Any opinions?

I really liked the clear look of the whole light cluster prior to installing the bulbs.

While we're at it any subtle styling mods that are worth while?

I've considered:

Aero Wipers. These look smart

Octy vRS II badges (swapping the fabia vrs ones on front grille/boot).

Tray under radio (don't like the gapping mouth/cubby hole).

Front indicator bulbs without the orange bit

and a snazzy set of green valve caps

Can i ask where you got the new vrs badge's from and how much.

Bulbs.

I took out the Bluevision sidelight bulbs for exactly same reason. I now have white LED sidelights in. A far better look IMO. Check out my avatar. Also look better alongside the Xenons when they are fired up.

Aerowipers.

I have a 9N Polo rear aero wiper fitted. Looks a lot neater IMO. I also have retro-fit Renault aero wiper blades on the front, as proper VAG group wiper blades & arms won't fit.

Octy II vRS badges.

Something I am considering for the front grille. Not on the rear though, as I have completely debadged the boot.

Sliding tray.

Something I was also considering, but I might do something different now!

Anyone tried the Osram Cool Blue halogen sidelights? As they are halogen, they are brighter than 'normal' sidelights.

Well I've decided the bulbs are coming out.... (anyone interest in buying them PM me, sidelights and full beam bulbs)

The octy II vRS badge idea has been scrapped....the fabia is very angular and I think the standard badge suits it better (as this is very angular too)

Things to order...

Aero wipers.

Boot rubber matt thingy.

Radio fascia plate.

Sliding draw/vw cup holder

If you're non Xenon, I'd vote for some Osram Silver Stars for the dipped beam and some Philips Rallye bulbs for the main beam. I got some free Philips side-light bulbs with them which have a blue tinge, but don't look blue in the cluster :confused: With the lights on though, they all give a nice crisp white light
