I had the pleasure of watching one of these accelerating up an empty city street in Manchester at the weekend.

My God, what a cacophony! The guy took it steady round a corner, then floored it on the straight and I have never heard anything so loud. these boy racers and their big box exhausts can kcuf right off. The AMV8 deserves an instant ASBO for excessive noise.

It would get round it though, as the noise can only be described as truly beautiful.

Going along Dual carriageway Near Hemel Hempstead- layby on the left - food van etc+ AMV8 in gun metal grey stationery with guy in it.

Went past at 75-80 - still have this layby on my left.

All of a sudden - Thunder in the backgroud- **** whats that?

Aston comes along the layby easily doing a ton straight out ahead of me on the left and into the wild blue yonder never to be seen.

I'm wondering whether its David Jason as ive heard he lives round these ere parts

I have seen one cutting up and overtaking - its a whole new world....

If only I had a few million to A- buy it, B- insure it C- run it.:)

Beautiful - seen a few on the roads now. Apparently they have an exhaust divert valve on them, so they get through the noise regs test

Must have been a great noise with the exhaust note bouncing off the buildings in the city centre... :drool:

See one most mornings on commute in (anyone noticed that you can sit behind the same car time after time in mornings if timings all go right!!) anyway yeah see one in standard aston silver/grey going into london most mornings and it really is something else when you hear it pull away from lights or out of rounderbouts. Puts the daft students on their wasps/scooters to shame!!

After last years Cannonball I was helping a guy de sticker his Aston, when we had finished he handed me the keys & said youd best take your son for a spin then, what can I say, the noise is truly awesome, I was backing up the traffic just to be able to floor it
