Airbag warning light

Hello Everyone, my 2014 Elegance has developed an Airbag fault light seemingly at random.

A friend with a very fancy code reader pin pointed it to the wiring in the passenger door (it's a common issue apparently - aren't they always....?!) but he ran out of time before we could take the door card off etc.

If it is a common one ? then any pointers/thoughts/suggestion before I start digging ?
