Bubbling Skoda badge

Featured Replies

The Skoda badge on my tailgate is bubbling. Almost like rust although it's plastic.

The cars still under warranty so I should think the dealer will replace it no problem. How is it fixed on? If it's just stuck on I might do it myself to save booking it in.

Anyone else had this problem?

I believe it's stuck on and has two locating pins. Shouldn't be a hard job.

As for the warrenty question, it would be best to ask your dealer.

I dont know how old your car is buy all Fabia's around W/X Reg seem to be fading. Mine both look awful, I Must replace them. They arn't that difficult to replace, but if they are local your dealer might aswell do them

Took car in yesterday to bickertons in Sheffield. They replaced it there and then. After it was done they tried to charge me 11 quid but I said "surely it is covered by warranty". After checking they agreed and I came home very happy:)

Hey Gord

I used to replace these by the dozen when I was doing warranty.

Yes it is covered by warranty.

Manufacturing defect is the problem.

So it is not down to you to pay.
