Summer MPG.

Featured Replies

I quite like this hotter weather for its effect on my mileage.

Managed an 80+ miles journey around the M25 last Sunday and averaged 60+mpg. :D .

If things continue like this I'm going to get my first 450 miles between refills. I normally end up putting 38-39 litres in to fill it.

Fingers crossed I don't get all excited and ruin it with premature application of the throttle. :D

Getting 51-53 on my work run (mixture of 60 roads and 30 roads.)

Actually impressed considering the engine is new, assuming it can only get better

I managed 70mpg on the 5mile trip home across the city from work the other night :D

The engine has only done 2600 miles as well

Mine does better MPG in hot weather but the engine seems to get UNBELEIVABLY hot!

Managed to average 61 mpg over 900 miles recently. Must be my mainly motorway milage. Consumption then went to pot when I drove to Le Mans and back with 2 (allegedly adult) passengers, our kit and a roofbox (Returning with a 'few' bottles of wine and a load of beer) - still averaged a remarkable 51.2 mpg over the 927 miles!
