Is this Tyre pressure loss screen normal?

Is the Tyre Pressure Loss Indicator Working?

2017 Octavia, I originally thought it was telling me to check the tyre pressures and press "Set". Which I did. But it still says the same thing.

But in the manual it shows it looking like this with tyres in grey (OK) or amber (warning) and no message saying "When all 4 tyre pressures have been checked ..."

Seems odd that there is no obvious confirmation that this system is functional or known not to be functional.

Same system  as the superb so won’t make much difference but wrong forum section 😛

this is the default screen when there is no fault yes, so nothing to worry about. After setting pressures you press set, it confirms and the screen will look the exact same, if there were low pressures it turns orange.

Good to know, thanks.

Sorry it’s in the wrong forum section, I’m not sure if it was fat fingers or temporary brain fade (we were looking at Superbs too).

@meltemi

to avoid guessing what's wrong, i have installed dTPMS

alternative set, independent to car's system
