If it will bring down the initial price of the Car purchase, making some of the technically available software tweaks optional with a one off purchase price is a great idea.

 

There are loads of nonsense gubbins that has been added to cars to reduce the driving experience we could live without.

Sure. Just seems a bit ridiculous for some software that uses existing hardware.

Agreed. £179 to not have to flick a dip switch! Bonkers. IIRC, two years ago it was £97 and I refused to pay that much.

If you have not already purchased FSD capability and your vehicle has FSD computer 3.0 or above, you can subscribe to FSD capability from the Tesla app or your vehicle’s touchscreen.
