After looking for screws and accessible clips on the door itself I’ve searched on here and elsewhere and I’ve failed miserably to find any info on how to remove the door trim on the inside of the rear door 

 

I appear to have a faulty control module in there and I want to get in at it to see exactly what is happening without breaking trim completely 

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated 

I got stuck into it today and figured out how to get the trim off

 

The process is -

 

- remove the tweeter grille and remove the small screw behind there

 

- remove the trim of the doo handle and remove the two bigger bolts in there

 

- pull the trim outwards starting at the bottom and working around until all release (or break)

 

- lift the top up and away from the window 

 

- disconnect the wiring and the cable to the lock
