Hi guys, before i make any attempt, to replace my fan module, does the battery tray come out of the mk2 facelift octavia? Would make life a lot easier if it does, had anyone ever replaced the fan module without having to put the car in the air? 

What do you mean by fan module?

I think on your car the fan control module will be built into the main radiator fan.
