My 05 plate Fabia Vrs has a squeaky drivers seat, the dealer say that theres nothing they can do!! Im I just being fobbed off or can they replace the seat under warranty??

I had exactly the same issue, I was told it was the seat base. they wouldn't fix it under warranty because of the remap, after a bit of badgering about how a remap could actually affect it they agreed to fix it under warranty FOC.

I had mine changed, the dealer is sh*tting you.

The dealer tried WD40ing it to get rid of sqeak, which it did for about a day, they then changed the seat abase and all is good.

If they won't change it go to a dealer who will, if you let people know your rought area then somebody might recommend a good dealer to you.
