I'm in the progress of changing my left-hand drive to be compliant with UK regulations.

 

I got used OEM UK headlights, but want to test them before replacing my European ones. I'm unable to unplug the left headlight because there is not enough space. Do you deem it safe to test the left headlight at the right side of the car?

According to the wring diagram the same PINs are used. So electrically it should work out.

The same pins but the sockets may be polarised or mirror images, I cant see why though.

 

If it fits then go for it, the vehicle is not going to care what headlamp you plug into the wiring.

Dang, I just tried, but the cable is not long enough. So I guess I'll find out if the part works when I'll do the job.
