What sort of size and where are you mounting them i.e. floor (on stands) or wall mouted?.

Can anyone suggest a decent set that would do this ? I assume a pair of speakers that contain a couple of different sized "cones" would produce the biggest increase in quality?

Not necessarily...quality of the cones/crossovers/speaker cabinets, etc. etc. all makes a huge difference to the quality...

For the price of some decent (sand fillable) speaker stands, you might as well go with the floor standers imho The centre speaker is responsible for a lot of the sound so don't skimp on this, whereas the rears are really just for atmosphere and you can get away with lesser quality ones

Seems to be a bit of bias towards Kefs ... rightly so I reckon, I helped a mate pick some speakers for his set-up and the Kefs outshone all the others in that price range by quite a margin. Plus they are good looking and compact ... HTH

Somebody i know runs the daddy eggs, and do they sounds really good. Was shocked tbh.
