A (potentially) interesting conundrum.

 

Over the course of the summer I had occasion to programme 16 ‘one-off’ destinations into my Amundsen MIB3 system.

 

I deleted each one after the relevant journey, via the ‘saved destinations’ page/screen.

 

I have now found that partial reference (general area + postcode only) to each of them has been retained, and is “offered” as a potential destination on the ‘spider’s web’ overlay when I start the car.

 

None of them appear when the saved destination store is called up, but tapping on one will cause the system to plan & offer a route to it.

 

After fiddling for half an hour or so I have deleted them from this ‘reservoir’ by pressing & swiping (right to left) which causes the delete dustbin to appear (as when deleting from the ‘saved’ page/screen).

 

I’ve now got an uncluttered store of destinations but it does seem strange that the system seems to require that any saves are deleted twice.

Two separate memories.

 

The ones you "Save" and the other being recent destinations that the system saves which probably update over time.?

That's pretty normal with every satnav I've used. Very handy feature in my mind

 

In the settings you maybe able to chose which category appears on the "spiderweb"
