2.0 TFSI Injector Parts Number

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I need to change the injectors on my 06 Octavia RS with the 2.0 TFSI engine. As new ones are expensive, I've been looking into getting some used ones, and sending them to be serviced. The parts number for the 06 model is 06F906036A, but I found a cheap set with the number 06F906036G at a junkyard in Prague. From what I understand, the G code comes from the 07 model. According to my mechanic, the code has to end in an A, but according to the sellers, the two are interchangeable, so I don't know who to believe 🙃 Has anyone here gone through the hassle of replacing the injectors? If so, what parts number did you use?

06F906036A is valid part number for injector to BWA engine (used in 2.0 TFSI RS).

Official Skoda sparepart catalog (ETKA) does not recognize 06F906036G number at all.

Yeah, it's doing my head in cause 06F906036G doesn't appear in the VW and Audi catalogues either. It only pops up on used parts websites. However, the two look exactly the same and Dark Side Development lists their injector for the EA113 engine as a replacement for both 06F906036G and 06F906036A.

I also found this forum and it seems that they are interchangeable? Since 06F906036G  doesn't appear anywhere, perhaps it came with the earliest models and was then dropped in favour of 06F906036A?

Should be fine considering that both of them appear to be for the BWA engine? I suppose the only real way to find out is pull the intake and see what's actually on my car 😅

I wrote my previous post from my house and now I'm at garage and I found 06F906036G under my display 😄 (yes, you read correctly)

06F906036G is the original injector code for BWA engine. The one I have in my hand now is dated 06-09-21 (2006-09-21). My car is 2007 2.0 RS and I swapped this injector 1,5 years ago to new one. New injector part code (I bought new from Skoda) was 06F906036A. So yes, they are interchangeable.

Awesome, thanks for checking! Nice to finally have a solid answer after an entire day of looking at VW parts numbers 🤣
