I have had my 2021 Octavia Estate SE L First Edition for a couple of months.

The central arm rest for the driver, I recall I have had this set at a higher position to enable the driver to rest their arm on it (great for longer journeys) but for the life of me I can't seem to get it to do this now.  Should be a simple enough but I can only get it to extend forward and back at the lower height, that fully covers the storage port, I can tip also it up for access to the storage port and the arm holds it position when tipped.  Am I just being plain stupid not being able to raise it's height when it's extended forward over the console and is there some obscure knack I am missing?  Was it my imagination that it could be set to a higher position?  Or is is just plain broken?

Just went out I tried it again and there is a very faint clicking of a ratchet and that works and can now raise the height. Sometimes the simplest of things stare you straight in the face - the apparent obvious I had completely overlooked.
