I'm Mattia from Italy. Wanted to share with you all my experience with Škoda. 

 

In July 2022 I had to buy a second hand car, keeping in mind that: the following year (2023) I'd have to collect money for my marriage, but also that I started a mortgage 1 year before... And to end I wanted to enlarge the family. My wife and me live in northern Italy, being my hometown 1200 kms away and my wife's 900 kms. 

 

So, 2nd hand cars were a pain in the *SS for what regards their value, so I decided stated all above, to buy an mkII Octy Wagon 1.6 tdi with 210k kms. I took it with 5k€, saying 'OK I'll take it one year or so". Now I'm at 250k, I took the decision to change the clutch (not the single mass flywheel) and the 4 shock absorbers. 

 

I love my little Octy, it's not the latest model but it's worth every cent! And I make 17.5 kml in highway with 4 people on board, ac on and cruise set to 135 kmh.

We drove down to Northern Italy just before the first Covid lockdown.  Staying at Madonna Di Campiglio, Salo and Bergamo.  Also went to Lonato, where my Wife's Grandfather came from.  Beautiful part of the world 😎
