Went to change the foglight bulbs tonight and created a wee problem for myself.

Thought the Torx screw held in the lamp........"undid" it and not the little link arm has fallen out, allowing the reflector unit to swing about.

I have tried to access the lamp in order to sort this out, but I now reckon it's a bumper off job!!

Who's done this and have you any tips please???

So much for a run to the local classic car show tomorrow.........looks like I'll be disassembling the Fabia instead!

I fitted a new set of fogs to my car last week, and then noticed toda one was misted up, So took them back out and resealed them today.

For hassles sake its easier taking the bumper off IMHO,

4 torx in each arch,2 torx infront of radiator, 4 under the car, and three 'popper' panel fastenings, slide the bumper off and disconnect wiring to fogs/temp sensor, 15 minutes it took and not even going hard at it.

usual haynes manual statement, but refitting is the reverse.

plus avoids fiddling or loosing clips

Job done!!

Gained access by removing the horns. This gave room to get my hand behind the foglight and (using my spider senses) allowed me to refit the little link arm thingy!

New bulbs manouvered into place very carefully and now all nice and yellow'ey.
