Hi folks, 

I am in need of a new driver seat for my fabia, it has occurred age related damage such as padding and rips. It also has been sitting for some time and has seen better days. I have always fancied the VRS seats for my car and have found a Mk2 VRS front, passenger and backseats for sale. Is it as easy as swapping them in or will I encounter some issues

They won't fit, different dimensions completely.

If you're talking about mk2 Fabia vRS seats, then they will bolt straight in to a mk1 Fabia with no modifications.

 

I presume that sepulchrave thought you were talking about mk2 Octavia vRS seats, which as he said will not fit in a Fabia.

Is it the same for the back seats aswell?

Yes the backs fit as well, although you might also need the seatbelt buckles. I think the original buckle will still work, but I think it was angled differently so would fit the hole in the seat base better. 

 

They're only 1 bolt to undo.
