Door mirror glass replacement

Featured Replies

I need to replace the glass in the drivers door mirror due to a clash of mirrors with some p***t going in the other direction.  The glass glass was knocked out of the housing and is shattered, I've ordered a replacement and my question is does it matter which way round I connect the 2 cables to the back of the mirror ? I've pushed it back into the housing for now but obviously not connected the cables which I presume heat the mirror. I can still adjust it using the button on the drivers door.

I have done a search but couldn't find an answer

Thanks in advance

No, the heating element is not polarity sensitive.
