Cheapest Insurance Provider?!?!

Featured Replies

hey,

I will shortly have an 03 Octavia VRS.

What insurance provider to people recommend, that offer a good price, and what sort of price am I looking at per month??

I'm 48, and have full no claims bonus.

cheers, edd.

Tru Chris Knott. Mention that you're a BRISKODA member, and you'll get a discount too.

I'm with privilege and i think i rang them all im 35 full no claims protected £350

my octy rs is £450 a year with 7 years no claims im 24 and with Tesco

i used confused.com, good site, does a lot of the legwork getting loads of quotes back. Admiral came back the best, but then something interesting happened. Norwich Union Direct rang me about 2 hours later and politely asked why I wasn't taking their quote that had come back via confused, they said it was market research for themselves into confused.com. I told them Admiral had given a cheaper quote and he instantly slashed

using confused.com swiftcover came out the cheapest for me at only

Got mine through Adrian Flux, fully comp with protected no claims

Admiral.

25, 7yrs NCB.

Octavia Elegance, Jabba remap, VRS suspension, VRS exhaust, Bailey DV - £437

Chriss Knott's price on the standard car was more that Admiral's for the modded one

Maybe i can be of help to someone else ?my insurance is up end of the month with direct line for a SKODA OCTAVIA 110 SLXI ESTATE i tried norwich union, they came up with

Admiral / Swiftcover are pretty cheap if your postcode isnt the best (I pay 434 city centre).

Otherwise NU are reasonable in a good postcode (I was paying 270 in Anglesey).

I keep hearing Tesco are very cheap so I went on their site to check it out, came out at £25 a year higher than Admiral.

(This is my experience age 31, 5 NCB, Fabia vRS with 17" wheels but no other mods).

i bought a 2003 vRS octy 8 weeks or so ago. Tried all of the above. 29 with 7 years NCD, 3 points and a company car bump NF , Edinburgh.
