Mixture of lights not working

Featured Replies

Hello...

Just after some help / guidance with the following.

Yesterday I had a bulb warning on my dashboard. The drivers front indicator wasn't working and also the rear passenger indicator.

I have checked the bulb at the motor accessories shop, it still works

This morning whilst deicing noticed that both daytime running lights weren't working, as well as the whole drivers side lights, (dipped beam, indicator) and one of the passenger rear red lights!

😔

Surely this can't be a fuse issue with the random lights not working.

I've heard about something called a BCM? Can anyone explain what this, and could it be related?

Thanks

Body Control Module; that or maybe an issue with the CANBus (based on post in the Octy 2 forum); needs VCDS or a good auto electrician.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like I've sorted it. I found a post about a green 30a fuse being related to the lights, under the bonnet.

Took it out and one side looked dirty/corroded so cleaned it up and everything works!

I've swapped that fuse for a new one anyway.

So a very easy fix, fingers crossed 🤞

If it is the same as the Yeti and they do share the same platform, then the DRL's are extinguished when the handbrake is applied, I too thought that mine had failed.
