Hardwire Dashcam

Featured Replies

Good afternoon.

I am going to finally hard wire my front dash cam this weekend as its above zero and fed up plugging it into the 12v ciggy lighter.

I have opened the side fuse box, earthing is very obvious but I cannot work out which fuse is not constant to piggy back.

Multimeter has been leant out never to return.

Trying to avoid trying them all.

Any advice welcome.

Hi,

I only saw your post today. Just wonder if you already managed to hardwire your dashcam to your Superb ii? I managed to do it after some research today. Happy to share my experience if you still want to know.

Kind Regards,

Morning.

I sorted it thank you.

I piggy backed a start up fuse and it works very well.

As its silly season up here, a dash cam is vital.

Thanks for asking.
