Hi guys would anyboby be able to tell me where the transmission control module is located on a 2009 1.6 skoda roomster any help would be much appreciated many thanks.

Welcome.

Sorry no idea, but for others to maybe help, is it a 1.6 Petrol with a Tiptronic gearbox?

What is the issue with it and did it ever get a ATF change?

Thankyou faultcode reader says problem with T.C.M thats why im trying to locate it,the gearbox oil is ok and its not tipronic, its a normal automatic.

OK. I only know of them as have a Tiptronic automatic at that age, and they had no oil change interval showing for many years until at around 80,000 miles plus people asked about changing the oil.

THANKYOU I THINK YOU ARE CORRECT,I HAVE NOT LONG OWNED THE VEHICLE,AND STILL GETTING USED TO THE CONTROLS I HAVE CHECKED THE GEAR LEVER AND NOTICED IT MOVES TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE WHEN IN DRIVE WHICH  I NOW PRESUME WOULD BE FOR A MANUAL TYPE OPERATION OF THE GEARS,BUT I AM STILL LOOKING FOR THE LOCATION OF THE T.C.M FOR FUTURE REPLACEMENT,AS I SUSPECT ITS FAULTY.

@Crasheror @ApertureSmight be able to help, or hopefully someone else will be along.

Whats the registration? Ill find it.

I recently asked if anyone could help to identify the location of the transmission control unit on a 2009 1.6 petrol automatic roomster,as i have experienced intermittent loss of drive and vehicle goes into safe mode, with obd reading ou101 and po753,I have now found it,if it helps the tcm is fixed to the rear of the battery cover and the ecu is fixed to the bulkhead behind it.

A Mod might put this in the Roomster section with your other posts.

This is The Guide Section and your question is not a guide.   It looks like no mater how many posts you have the members that might know the answers are not responding.
