Help Please! Octavia VRS 235

Today driving home at night I was sitting in traffic and the speedometer , then the rev counter white lit markings for mph and revs  started showing pale orange and lit in pale orange in a circular motion sweeping clockwise and then reverted to the usual white . This kept happening all journey home . OK for a minute or two then sweeping pale orange clockwise. Both dials and not always at the same time! Looked like a blackpool light display! 

Can anyone please help advise what the hell is going on .. near impossible to concentrate with this weird effect!  2016 model only 39000 on clock .
