Karoq Edition Baulking gear change

Featured Replies

Picking up again from last year. Car is July 2019, diesel 4wd, 33000 miles. Been reporting gear change to dealer. Adjusted & lubricated cables which made smoother change, but still baulks on 1 & 2, and now on 3. Dealer's test driver said it was faulty, but dealer says I might have to pay nearly £2000 if they don't find a fault or it is not 'approved'. Got warranty for two more years. Not a gambling man! Any others with same problem. If so, what experience in getting it fixed.

Posted in the Octavia forum, and should get more replies in the Karoq forum.

Mine's a DSG so no relevant experience of this myself

@Elegant70  Skoda Main Dealer's Master Techs, Techs or Fitters should be aware of the failures growing in numbers with DQ381 DSG,s,  As Skoda, UK , Skoda CZ and VW Group must be.   Mechatronic Control Units.

Even Service Staff called TOMMY because selectively Deaf Dumb & Blind must have a little bit of an idea.
