Retrofitting cruise control

Hello everyone, I need a bit of help. My wife has a 2013 Skoda Octavia 1.4 TSI. She wants cruise control fitted but I’m having trouble finding the right part her steering wheel has no controls and the right stalk has a trip computer. I can find the cruise control stalk. It comes with the right hand stalk, but it does not have the trip button on it. also when I do find the right part and fit it, is it just a case of coding with vcds or do I need to run extra wire?

As the title says i am looking to change one of our cars for the last of the Mk3's, should i go for the petrol or diesel, either way it will be a DSG. The price difference between petrol and the oil option is about 30p per litre so that is a fair bit. I do about 10,000 per year so am thinking that diesel may not be the way to go. I keep hearing about chain issues or oil consuption on the TSI engine but that seems to be in the early versions, not the ones that would be in a 2020 car. What do you

Hey everybody! I am a proud owner of a 2017 Octvaia 1.8TSI for two months now. Does anybody know what app/website is the best to find parts for your car? (a brake change is shortly due, and would be awesome to have a website which works and finds parts through VIN’s like ETKA). Thanks for the help in advance Benjamin

I’ve seen two cars on Autotrader, both 2018 and the technical and details in the ads suggest one is 227 BHP and the other is 242. Both appear to be the facelift variant, based on the split front headlights. Is there any other way of confirming the engine BHP apart from relying on the advert contents? Thanks
