I'd appreciate any ideas on how to get the lid of the upper glove box to close tightly again.

 

I've not been able to find anything on line other than the complete removal of the entire glove box.

 

I opened it up ealier today and the fitting hinge type thingamajig on the left side has become unseated.

 

It hasn't come completely out of the housing slot but is loose which won't allow the glove box lid to completely close.

 

Previously it would snap shut and be a tight fit.

 

Any help much appreciated.

Update: Fixed 🙂

 

Eventually managed to see that a holding pin had worked it's way loose and come out of the retaining hole.

Long nose pliers did the trick to re-insert the pin and all's good again.
