Hello everyone, I've just bought my dream car: a 2012. SKODA Superb, L&K 3.6 L. V6 DSG in what's called apparently exclusive magnetic brown metallic.

 

I've always wanted a superb with this engine and amazingly found this one in London at a dealership with only 52,000 miles.

 

I'm interested in updating the vehicle and finding out more about DIY maintenance. What scan tool to use with OBD2 and what upgrades can be made to the audio, a map and phone side of things.

 

I've joined this forum for research purposes. I'm also a member of the SKODA owners club GB which produced. I believe a very competitive price on motor insurance following one of the clubs recommendations.

 

I'd appreciate any help from anyone about how to improve this vehicle and I don't mean stick a turbo on it. For instance, I like to keep things standard in that respect.

Congratulations on hunting down what is a very desirable and increasingly rare car. I only had oil burning Superb II but the V6 was the one our local coppers used as unmarked traffic duties, to great effect.

My Superb was the favourite of all my Skodas and a contender for the best car I’d ever owned, best of luck with yours and hope you get as much from yours as I had from mine.
