ACC Radar Woes?

Featured Replies

Superb 2L TSI SE L Executive. 2018.

Just recently an orange warning light has been coming on intermittently. See video. I can go for miles without it coming on, yet the following day it cold be on from start. Once it is on I have to stop / start the can to see if I can get rid of it!

Google suggests it could be tied up with the front ACC Radar, although it’s not been knocked to my knowledge. Google also says it could be tracking errors but again I’ve not walloped anything.

Can you recommend anyone in N Wales or the North West / Midlands area who can check it out and if necessary, calibrate or fit new and calibrate?

It may not have been knocked but the plastic may have gone brittle like mine did

Mine went nearly 2 years ago.  It turned out to be a broken bracket for the front ACC radar, although I couldn't see any damage or marks on it, so it's a bit of a mystery as to how it was broken.

It was repaired by Sinclair Skoda, Swansea, so it's the wrong end of Wales for you!
