Had a look through the forum but couldn't find anything, it's kind of hard to know what to search for so apologies if this has been raised before. 

 

Had our Octavia for 4 years now and it's never missed a beat. It does get through oil more than any car I've had before, but I've read that it's fairly common.

 

It's only a slight concern, but when the engine is shut down, the last couple of crank turns after switching of the ignition  sound really rough, and almost like a grinding/wearing sound. It's done it as long as we've had it.

 

Just wondered if anyone else has noticed it on theirs, or if it's something I should get checked out?
