Welcome to my build project for my  Octavia VRS MK3 Estate

 

I have owned the car for a few weeks now and what can I say... it definitely ticks all boxes I required ticking 

 

Having previously had a Sportage and a Nissan Juke and before that a mk4 v5 I always wanted another VAG car. 

 

*I needed space for MTB gear 

* I wanted a car I enjoyed driving 

* I wanted a better fuel economy

* I wanted to not feel like a 50 year old on a school run 🤣

 

So my project begins, first up and on the list are:

 

* New Droplinks from Meyle HD

* New pressed plates

* Gloss black badges all round

* New brakes front and back

* Led bulbs all round 

* Wheels refurbished 

* Stage 1 remap 

*Rieger or Maxton valances

* Carbon accents

 

Follow me whilst I get this new to me car to its best possible form.

But might I suggest an anti-"murdered out" finish with a full debadge, dechrome, and all trim and wheels pained the same white as the body?

You can suggest whatever you want as we all have opinions. I have a vision and it is not an all white car I'm afraid. I like to keep things as oem as possible.
