Engine light on heating goes from warm to cold every 5 seconds

My engine management light came on recently codes came up with auxiliary water pump 1,

I had it changed but light still occurs and when on high heat heating goes from hot to cold to hot every 10 ish seconds.

don’t know what I should do know.

Maybe it's not the pump but the power cable to the pump?
