I'm after a sub £7k car to replace my existing MK1 Fabia. Which has been faultless.

 

What's going to be my best bet, I'm after something the same sort of size, preferably with larger passenger space but not overall body size.

 

Which era of Fabia is the roomiest inside (not an estate). 2 growing kids...

 

And which engine is the most reliable for 95% short journeys, economy and reliability are my main concerns.
