Future first time Skoda owner here (Collecting Monday).

 

After doing some initial research and price analysis, I’ve opted to purchase the following vehicle:

ive read the silica bag is an issue so will be looking to remove that once I’ve completed, is there any other general issues/common faults/ maintenance I should be aware of for this model? As well as anything I should be specifically looking out for when going to complete on Monday?

 

I’ve looked into the 2,2,2 extended warranty from Skoda @ £900, I will probably be proceeding with this for peace of mind if anyone else can reccomend this scheme, the private dealer I’m purchasing from only provides 30 days.

Only if the expansion bottle is labelled "mit silikat" (with silica).
