Clutch slave cylinder

Featured Replies

Hi all, seems mine has sprung a leak firstly any issues to look out for when changing out and does anyone know the correct one or part code for my vehicle please as I keep getting conflicting searches for what fits thanks in advance :)

Why do you say that it "seems" to have sprung a leak?

Have you observed it or are you repeating what a garage has said? Or what were the symptoms?

On the assumption that your clutch hydraulic system shares the fluid reservoir with the brakes you should check the fluid level as a matter of urgency.

Yes I have and I can see that the leak is from the clutch master cylinder I don't go to garages I do my own repairs I'm just not sure on the correct part number.

My apologies, a few years ago on the forum I would not have made the wrong assumption that you did not do your own repairs, we are definitely in the minority now, it was the "seemingly" that misled me, I read it as indicating doubt or scepticism.

Lol yeah I prefer to know it's done correctly and parts changed yes it's definitely leaking.
