Phew!

After ringing around today got some interesting quotes....

Adrian Flux:

So another relatively good comparison involving LV! Interesting news about time trials and track day cover too. :D

I'm with DL....

35

9+ years NCB

SWMBO

protected

low risk area

all mods included

Very interesting, and if i remember correctly Trackdays are not specifically excluded in the policy. Therefore its fair to assume they have no objections ;)

For the hell of it I've just done an online quote with BellDirect.....

Adrian, be VERY careful....

On the Bell Direct page where you declare your mods, it states that they will only return your car to standard condition in the event of a claim. The mods ARE NOT insured !!

Also, they would not quote me with my mods (just the chip ATM !!). And their system is VERY similar to Elephant.co.uk. Same company methinks ;)

If you want protected NCB you will probably have to select it from a list of options, don't assume its included. It usually adds around 10% onto the price. :)

When I get my 2 yrs ncb back for the non-fault claim I have in progress at the moment, the quote will reduce by another

BellDirect, Elephant and Admiral are all part of the same Group (Admiral Group) - which is an insurance managing agent based at Lloyd's of London - they each just target different people.
