Octy vRS Premium through the roof!?

Bloody Hell!

Just had a letter through from my broker - my renewal with Norwich Union has come through at

Dave,

a call to LV is in order I reckon.

Liverpool Victoria...one premium, almost any mods without extra loading it seems.

Just added 98 pounds to mine, thats bodywork, decat, and chipped mods for

Although the true value of saving will be payment processing and claim handling. Cross that bridge when I come to it.

L.V - worth a shot.

I can't fault them for insuring me post my visit to Jabba.

And I won't need to tell them when I go down the powerpipe mod route soon - I just need to keep the receipt handy, same for Jabba tuning as well.

I used to be with Barclays, this year they transfered their business to Norwich Union & the premium went through the preverbial roof. Im now with L&V & its LESS than the previous year with Barclays

with my new vRS coming soon I had already got quotes before buying so was mightily suprised at the cost to be honest

my and the wife both named

I've been with one of the Direct Line Group companies for 12 years and have protected NCB. Because of L&V's apparent 'ignorance' of mods, my policy was 25% cheaper with them at renewal time, despite my pleading with my current insurer !

Norwich Union did the same thing with me a couple of years back. It's a conspiracy I tell ya! ;)

I'm 36, live in a 'reasonable' area near Liverpool and with full ncb I pay

im 24 with a golf gti with MCD of 5 years, no claims or convictions and i have a second car the octy vRS, best quote?

how about Direct Choice

Liverpool Victoria is what you need. I'm 32, only 3 years NCB, drive Octy vRS.

Currently I am insured with Eagle Star Direct and I pay

i must be a young vRS owner

bah I fibbed...the policy came thorugh the post this morning and its

my insurance is 1080+ extra bit for protected ncb... with 6 points no tracker 5yrs ncb. on the tusc. the RS is looking similar which is a total **** take.

I'd imagine the Tuscan isn't as likely to get nicked as the RS though...

only cos they cant open the ****ing doors... and it doest start if you do manage to get in it.

I can't help but feel there's some subtle hidden meaning in there...

But the answer to your question is yes... :D

Rob.

I found that for a standard car http://www.belldirect.co.uk were cheapest for me by a mile:

Octavia RS

28yr + 30yr old sister

6yr NCB (Protected)

Good postcode but parked on street

im 24,

golf gti grp 14. 4years NCD

I'm 23

Still got an outstanding accident from 14 months ago (non-fault) but hiking my premium right up!

Si - how come you cant change insurance companies until the claim is sorted?

Because Flux won't refund me any money until the claim is settled.

When i changed car last week if i'd wanted to change insurance companies, Flux wouldn't have refunded any of my policy which runs until August 04.

Meaning I would have had to pay an extra
