Fabia classic passenger airbag wiring

Hi all,

 

Just got my trusty 2002 fabia classic back from a family member and the airbag light is on, I’ve swapped the airbag module as I had error codes 00532 & 65535, doesn’t help that the module was full of liquid (looked like coke) 

 

The module I put in has the same part code, index & SME, but now I have a new code 00589 passenger igniter, I’m relatively sure the classic only came with a drivers airbag, so assuming the module came from a different model

 

Does the classic still have the connector on the loom for the passenger airbag present behind the glovebox so I can do the resistor trick or am I out of luck and I’m  going to have to buy another module?

Abit of an update I’ve looked into the modules and can be that the indexes & part numbers are the same but the soft coding is incorrect

 

original: 12337

replacement: 12338

 

am I correct in thinking that If I get ahold of VCDS I would be able to change the soft coding and the air page warning for the passenger airbag should disappear?

I would expect so, yes.

Don't know much about airbag issues though.

Does anyone know what the security access code for the airbag module would be? VCDS is keeps dropping the session because of it
