Have you got any picks of the RS6 front?? I've been wanting to change to a de-badged grille, but don't like the Milotec look.

Having a roof rack is one of the ultimate 'Euro look' accessories mate and I am desperate to find an OEM one for the Superb!!

There was one in the classifieds but I can't find it now!!

Yes I remember it as I was going to have it...He sold it as far as I remember, probably why the thread isnt't there now I would've thought

Cool, i lurve the alloys (ive got some similar  ) they look so sweet on the Superb. Nice one.

Similar ones.....LOL!!

Thanks for the comment mate!!

No sorry no more pics of the wheels, saw it on VW Vortex.

Got my old roof racks off my mums car all polished up, just waiting to get my coilovers on. My mate used to have an old school bug and we are going to use the wooden basket thing he had on them. Should look very trick

Bummer....

Yeah the wooden frame on the roof rack is a great look, especially with a wicker basket strapped to it, LOL!!

Well ok I would say it was a basket. More of a tray

Wouldn't mind getting a surf board to put on it for meets etc, but thats more of a hood look

That looks awesome!

Each to there own and all that, but I fail to see the point in 'stretching' tyres?

It makes no use having wider wheels if the tyre has to be stretched in order to get them under the arches, as there is no extra rubber in contact with the ground, not to mention that tyres aren't designed to be run like that, so the safety aspects are simply frightening!

Perhaps i'm just missing the point though?

I understand what your saying mate but it's all about the 'look'.....if you have a look on Edition38.com then you will find loads of motors running similar wheel and tyre set ups to those shown above in the website link.

At the end of the day this is a 'look' that some people like, it's not everyone's cup of tea but IMHO it looks great.....hence why I went with the stretched look on my rear 9.5J rims, I just think it makes the whole 'Euro' look complete.

With regards to your comment about 'getting them under the arches', this is not the case the wheel would fit in most cases with normal sized tyres but most people just prefer the 'stretched' look.

If you are then so am i

My main concern would be popping the tyre off the rim if you cornered hard.

It would be far too easy to wreck an alloy on a kerb as well.

I also fail to see how a tyre stretched that much would pass an MOT.

(If a car has a lower speed rating tyre fitted than what the vehicle is capable of then its also a fail)

Hmmmm.....

Lets get some things straight here, people wouldn't be able to put these tyres on the rims if they didn't hold the air inside them so therefore they are safe to a certain extent but in reality I would suggest that most people only have these types of wheels for shows and meets.........

I think you guys are taking this a little too seriously and without sounding 'stereotypical' something that I would expect a Skoda owner to suggest.....

Nope still missed it ...................

Guilty as charged - I do take my (& family's) safety very seriously, are you suggesting you don't

Can't see the relevance of the car you own either (have owned many BMW's including E30 M3, Subaru, Ford & a couple of rally cars)
