Afternoon folks

 

I'm in the middle of swapping the old worn chrome gear shift and have removed the  old one,  got the new 2nd hand gear Stick back on but the lock button has stayed in ? 

 

Any ideas for remedying this please ?

Resolved. On the opposite side if the button there is a chrome trim you remove this and click the spring loaded mechanism back until it clicks into place. Works perfectly well now. Cheers
