I’ve got 2007 Skoda octovia vrs petrol which the power steering motor have completely failed, I found one listed on eBay but it’s from the same car newer version 2017 but diesel. I’m concerned about the compatibility? Would this work on my car? Given that there from different fuel operating engines. Thanks for your help!

A 2017 car is a Mk 3 so I would guess it would not fit. You should look for a 2004 to 2013 power steering system.
