Hello just traded in my V W Golf  2015 1.4 TSI match blue motion tech., for a Karoq 1.5 SEL manual box, Registered April  2021 7,945 miles bought from Michell Skoda Chester, only owned for two days just getting used to it, so far pleased with it. Just saying hello.

And hello from a Karoq Sportline owner of just under a year. There’s many on here that know an awful lot, so just ask away. Don’t count me as one of them though, I’ve not a clue when it comes to anything technical 😂

Thanks for your reply BT and SID I guess I will have a few questions in time ! , first one will probably about the infotainment screen

it seems to display some random messages at odd times, e.g. I'm in sixth gear @ 60 mph a message pops up " The reversing camera is not available at the moment "  😀

Don't change into reverse at 60mph - sounds like good advice to me

That thought did cross my mind actually.   Looking at your Fuel-ups for the Golf and Octavia reminds me of the eleven years I drove a Mark  1 Ford Focus R S as my daily driver , 30 mpg avg.

The Sprint Yellow vRS was my previous car.  To be fair I rarely drive with economy in mind; I try to be good, but lose interest quite quickly   I've had some economical-ish cars, but now, as Cyndi Lauper once said, 'Boys jus' wanna have fun!' 😇
