Hi All,

 

I've got a 2013 Fabia 1.2 TSi and have an issue where the amber oil level warning light come on. To date I have checked the following, do you guys have any advice please:

 

• Checked oil level and all seems fine
• Noticed the light did got out once I opened the bonnet - But have seen another thread where apparently if you open the bonnet for a while it turns the light out for 100Kms so could have been this

 

Any advice greatly appreciated

That is correct on the bonnet opening.   

 

So it is the Yellow Oil can showing Low Oil, not Low oil pressure which is the Red Oil can.

 

Is that Oil Level fine when checked hot, up near the top of the crosshatch, and fine when checked cold, maybe a bit higher?

When was the OIl & Filter changed last? 

 

 Has anything changed recently other than the Warning Light?

Yes it’s the Yellow oil can not red.

 

levels look to be good both hot and cold, nothing else looks to be any different it drives well still just the light keeps coming on.

 

I will have to get it booked into a garage to check I think

Same problem with the “check oil level!” Oil was low yesterday so I topped it up after this warning but now it won’t leave me alone 😂
